Welcome to the Wind of the Coast (WICO) website

WICO (Wind of the Coast) is a European funded project looking at small-scale wind coastal renewable energy initiatives.

The project is being funded under the Interreg IVC Atlantic Area POWER Programme.

Marine South East is working with partners from Italy and Spain to identify and develop best practice in the public sector to promote successful large-scale deployment of renewable energy schemes in order to maximize benefit to the regional economy and environment and society.

The WICO project will run from July 2009 to the end of September 2011
