Marine South East
Marine South East is the regional marine initiative of the South East of England Development Agency (SEEDA) and was established in 2004 to address the needs of the marine sector in the South East of England, which employs over 105,000 people and has a turnover exceeding £14 billion.
Our website (see below) has been developed to support our members by providing a searchable database of regional marine companies, access to the latest research and technical reports, details of tender opportunities and links to support organisations.
We identify projects of strategic importance to the sector's growth and work with sector teams and partnerships to support increased economic development of the marine sector in South East England, targeting activities that seek to achieve progress towards productivity improvement, enhanced market access and promotion of the whole industry.

MAS SE funded by SEEDA and delivered by EEF South, has over 6 years experience of engaging with manufacturers in the South East. We have a team of professional Manufacturing Specialists, all with senior manufacturing experience in a number of sectors, including marine, aerospace, automotive, and medical equipment. During this period we have provided support to 2,500 manufacturers and provided intensive support to over 700 manufacturers, generating over £250million in value added benefits.
The advice we provide, in collaboration with other public service partners where appropriate, covers a range of business areas, including Strategic Planning, Six Sigma, Lean, Service Excellence, ISO9001, Health & Safety, Project Management, Innovation & New Product Introduction and Best Practice Networks/Clusters and visit programmes.
