For the last 3 years Marine South East has been leading four European marine science clusters in the 'EMSAC' (European Marine Science Applications Consortium) project. The project recently held its final workshop in Brussels.

Water resource management is becoming an urgent challenge, for Europe and the world, as populations grow and requirements increase. Degradation of our coastal and estuarine waters is of particular concern to policy makers at regional, national, EU and international levels, and increasingly to the public at large.
