Integrated Transport competition expected soon
A multimillion pound funding competition for technological innovation in transport systems integration is expected to be made available shortly by the UK Government (through the Technology Strategy Board).
The competition is likely to include solutions to integrate systems, technologies, data and information (i.e. the integration of transport systems and networks - modes, and infrastructure, virtual, digitally and or physically) so that mobility - movement of people and goods - becomes easier, less stressful, smoother, more sustainable and in so doing, creates new ways of making commercial opportunities for systems integrators, as well as savings for the provider and end user?
