Free Breakfast Briefing for Marine Businesses 14th September 2010 Southampton Boat Show

The Green Blue will be running a free Breakfast Briefing at 8.45am on Tuesday 14th September at the PSP Southampton Boat Show. Taking place in the Winchester Room in the Holiday Inn and including coffee and croissant, delegates will be able to learn how to make cost savings, improve environmental performance and find out how the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme works and if your business needs to register.

A brief presentation will draw on the experience of working with BMF members and will offer some top tips. Topics will include:

* The Government's new Carbon Reduction Commitment scheme which requires businesses with certain meters to register by the end of September 2010.
* How to capitalise from the Government's new feed-in-tariffs for onsite energy generation such as wind and solar PV.
* A display of revolutionary LED lights which use up to 95% less energy than halogen lights in addition to lasting much longer- see for yourself the quality and brightness of these LEDs.

The Green Blue will also have energy meters and other sustainable goodies and gadgets to lend to businesses!

The breakfast briefing will be held in the Winchester Room, Holiday Inn on 14th September at 8.45am. To secure a place (which includes entry to the boat show) or for more information please contact Dan Reading dan.reading@thegreenblue.org.uk or call: 02380 604242
