Limited spaces left in the British Pavilion at SMM Hamburg September 2010

The world leading trade fair for the shipbuilding, machinery and maritime technology sectors, SMM, will open its doors again to 2,000 exhibitors and 50,000 visitors from 7 - 10 September 2010 in Hamburg http://www.hamburg-messe.de/smm/smm_en/start_main.php

Innovation and trends, the latest research and products focusing on greener shipping will be amongst the many exhibits from engines to safety gear, and from communication and navigation devices to ship operation equipment and electric equipment to name just a few sectors of the show.

Two spaces are left in the British Pavilion for companies that wish to showcase their products or services. Funding might be available from UKTI

This major event in world shipbuilding attracts exhibitors from 50 nations, including the major shipyards from the leading shipbuilding nations, the market leaders of the marine equipment industry and a whole range of innovative small and medium-sized companies. SMM is the world's leading international shipbuilding exhibition, and is the trendsetter and trend accelerator for maritime technologies. - More than 100 new exhibitors from all industry sectors have been accepted for SMM 2010.

SMM 2010 is a platform for the latest innovations, research and product development and in particular environmental technologies, environmental protection, emissions reduction systems and energy efficiency.

SMM 2010 will be held at the Hamburg exhibition centre from 7 to 10 September 2010.

During SMM 2010, the first global maritime environmental congress (gmec) will be held on 7 and 8 September 2010. This conference brings together more than 700 representatives from industry, government, academia, navies and environment protection organisations, to elaborate and present practical solutions for environmentally sound, sustainable shipping. There are two exhibition spaces left in the British Pavilion for which funding of up to £1,000 might be available, depending on eligibility.
