Schools Marine Challenge 2010 - Race Day June 24th 2010 Bluewater, Kent
Delivered in partnership with the British Marine Federation, Lloyd's Register and Engineering Your Future, the Schools Marine Challenge race day for the South East will be taking place at Bluewater in Kent on June 24th 2010.
New for this year has been invitations to primary schools local to the event to come along and get involved. The Primary Schools will have the opportunity to assemble and run a solar powered boat on the day.
Volunteers from the main event school race teams will help the primary pupils build and test their boats.
The South East Schools Marine Challenge race day will this year be held at Bluewater in Kent with schools from as far away as Southamphton and Oxfordshire racing all classes of boats.
