Recruitment tops the agenda this year’s Seawork

Seawork 2008

Do you have vacancies to advertise? The Maritime Training and Careers Pavilion is back, bigger and better, at Seawork 2008. Not only does the Pavilion contain recruitment agencies and maritime training organisations, other companies eager to promote their services to the commercial marine sector have also booked space. Graduate Jobs Southampton has also confirmed that it will be exhibiting.

This year the pavilion has joined forces with Business Southampton to liaise with The University of Southampton, The National Oceanagraphic Centre, City College, Eastleigh College and other local colleges and universities to bring groups of students and graduates to Seawork to see the numerous training and job opportunities which exist in the marine industry.

New for 2008 is a Jobs Board at the entrance to the Pavilion. This will be used to advertise job vacancies which exhibitors have on offer. It is a great opportunity for employers, as there will be post graduates and students at Seawork looking to find work!

Do you have any jobs that you would like displayed in the Pavilion? If so, email details of them to freeve@seawork.com along with contact details or your stand details so that people can come and discuss possible opportunities face to face.
