Woolston Planning proposals submitted – have your say

Woolston

Plans for the development of Woolston Riverside have now reached the next stage and have been submitted for consideration to Southampton City Council.

Two planning applications are now being considered.

A full application has been submitted by the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) for development of marine space for Palmer Johnson. The plans are now open to consultation. If you would like to view the plans log onto http://www.southampton.gov.uk/building-planning/planning/majorapplications/seeda_app.asp

This follows a previous outline application for the whole site submitted by Crest Nicholson Regeneration. In terms of the marine quarter, the application includes marine industrial space, a multi-storey car park, hotel and office space. If you would like to see this application and comment on it go to http://www.southampton.gov.uk/building-planning/planning/majorapplications/centenary_quay.asp

SEEDA is currently reviewing plans for the part of the marine quarter which is not being taken by Palmer Johnson and we hope to be able to publish more information about these plans in the July issue of email news.

In the meantime if you have any questions please email jonathan@marinesoutheast.co.uk
