Inward mission of buyers at this year's Seawork

seawork

The Seawork Inward Buyer Mission will take place at Seawork in Southampton on 11th and 12th June 2008. The Mission will bring more than 20 key decision makers from major overseas companies to Seawork to meet with suppliers in order to develop commercial relationships.

Buyers and suppliers will be matched by capability and interest. Each buyer will have a pre-arranged schedule of meetings, based on 20 minute slots. In 2007 buyers came from Portugal, Spain, New Zealand, China, Canada, Taiwan, Turkey, Italy and India and the initiative resulted in 100 face-to-face meetings being set up, with 4 companies invited to the buyer's home countries to further business relations.

The number of buyers at this year's conference is expected to double and the meetings will take place all day Wednesday and until Thursday lunchtime. Exhibitors and visitors are invited to register their interest and slots will be allocated on a first come first served basis. For only £50 per meeting, your company could discover lucrative new overseas markets. For further information about buyers, contact David Nickolls at UKTI on +44 (0)845 354555 or email david.nickolls@uktisoutheast.com.
