Help for those looking to take on work experience students
AIESEC is an international organisation that matches skilled students and recent graduates from over 100 countries with companies in the UK. Companies can access a database of thousands of potential candidates who are looking for traineeships of 2 to 18 months.
AIESEC is a registered charity founded in 1946. It sends over 4,000 applicants each year to work abroad. All exchange participants are carefully selected - their qualifications have been verified, and they have already acquired teamwork, business, and leadership skills through the "AIESEC eXperience".
The applicants on the database have a huge range of skills, and because they come from over 1,100 top universities in the world they are qualified to work across a range of professional environments.
AIESEC provides a hassle-free service - visa and work permits are sorted out by their national office. In addition to this, incoming trainees benefit from a support network to help them integrate in the UK, help them find accommodation, and make them feel welcome.
AIESEC assigns a Manager who helps companies create a list of skill and knowledge requirements, depending on their needs. They can then search among the four categories of applicants in the areas of Management, Technical, Education or Development.
