in the coastal and marine environment
The aims of this seminar are:
- To raise awareness and understanding of the various consents applicable to development in the coastal and marine environment
- To raise awareness and understanding of the consenting process
- To demonstrate consents in practice through case studies to include the new maintenance dredging protocol
- To raise awareness of the proposed changes to the Marine Consenting process in the proposed Marine Bill
- To discuss mechanisms for changing how consents are dealt with at the local level.
- To raise awareness of the Solent Forum's Marine Consent Guide
