BMF supports a growing Dubai International Boat Show

Dubai Boat Show

The 2008 Dubai International Boat Show March 11 - 15, the largest marine industry exhibition in the Middle East, is a classic showcase of yachts and boats from both local and international builders together with the latest innovations in marine equipment and accessories.

The 2007 edition attracted 25,000 visitors, with buyers coming from the wealthy regional markets. The show space has grown at an impressive 35% per annum for the last 3 years.

Developments for this year's show include an enhanced tent for the Luxury Service & Supplies area which is to be walled by a glass side. The Superyacht UK pavilion is housed next to this new glass walling system overlooking the new open area. Superyacht UK is likely to take 14 stands using a variety of pre-design and built stands.
Current exhibitors in the Superyacht UK pavilion include Summit Furniture, Devonport, Savage Marine Lighting, BMT Nigel Gee, Simcocks Yacht Management, Mini B, Flagship Superyacht Academy and Oceanstyle.

With the Gulf Coast countries now widely recognised as one of world's most robust emerging markets for the boating industry, an industry analyst has estimated that with the dominance of waterfront property and reclamation projects, the sector is on course for growth of up to 30 percent in the next 12 months.
