Over 40 buyers sign up to International One to One marine event taking place January 2008
With just over two months to go, the International One to One event, in association with IBI, has already attracted more buyers than ever before. To date, 43 Buyers have confirmed their attendance at the event, known formerly as the British Marine Federation’s Meet the Buyer, which is to be held in January during the Collins Stewart London Boat Show at ExCeL.
Key decision makers from marine businesses around the world, including Europe, USA, Australia and South Africa, will be flown in to meet UK suppliers over the course of four days. So far, companies from 14 different countries will be in attendance, all distributors, boat builders, Superyacht yards, designers and project managers.
Key Superyacht yards include Lurssen from Germany, Azimut Benetti from Italy, UK's Pendennis, France's CNB Groupe Bénéteau and Amels and Vitter's from the Netherlands. Amongst the distributors will be the Navimo Group from France, while the boat builders will include Fairline and Princess Yachts from the UK and Catalina Yachts from the USA.
The Buyers will have the opportunity to meet a wide range of suppliers from around the world, and suppliers will be able to display their products to a large number of yards and boat builders in a short time space, making this a valuable sales opportunity as well as a great chance to make new international business contacts.
