Mumbai Boat Show will again prove a hit for companies wanting to access a booming Indian market

Mumbai Boat Show

The Mumbai International Boat Show is yet again benefiting from the British Marine Federation’s involvement as the UK marine market sets to benefit from the potential of this thriving Indian industry.

India has seen amazing growth rates over the last few years:

- At 9.4% per annum, India's economy is booming
- India's middle class is estimated at 50 million people, 5% of the population.
- There are an estimated High Net Worth Individuals representing 2% of the population.
- With a population in excess of 12 million, Mumbai is said to have more millionaires per square mile than Manhattan

If you want to access this booming market you can take part in the next Mumbai Boat Show, which will run from February 28th to March 2nd 2008. Space available includes space only, shell scheme and country pavilion options, meaning you can invest at whatever level you want.

The exhibition will be on the same site as the 2007 event. Show space is expected to double to near 3000 square metres this year and will again be complemented by a conference, gala dinner and additional events. The marina will once again be installed at the famous "Gateway to India", and provide 150 metres of space for on the water exhibits.

Sales of exhibition space has started briskly with a very high repeat booking rate from the 2007 exhibitors. One Indian distributor has increased his space from 70 sq metres in the 2007 show to 510 sq metres for 2008.
