Marchwood Port Consultation open till 23rd October 2020

Consultation on plans for Marchwood Port is open until 23rd October 2020. The development of the port will increase its commercial activity and better support the ongoing operations of the MOD.

In 2016, Solent Gateway Ltd was awarded a 35 year concession to manage, operate and develop Marchwood Port by the Ministry of Defence.

The port development is supported in the New Forest District Council's adopted Local Plan and Solent Gateway's plans will increase the capacity of the port, bringing new investment and creating new jobs both at the port and in the supply chain.

Solent Gateway wants to engage with stakeholders and the local community to hear views on its proposals.

Find out more and take the virtual tour of the proposals at:

or email

Feedback is required by 23rd October 2020.
