Position of Chief Executive to YBDSA
The YBDSA are seeing a new CEO. The CEO of the Yacht Brokers, Designers and Surveyors Association leads two of the marine industry’s foremost Professional Associations, guiding the professional development of Brokers, Surveyors and Designers, including the roll-out and growth of the ABYA and YDSA Academies.
The role is fulfilling, busy and demanding in equal measure. The position will liaise directly with other bodies such as British Marine, RYA, HMRC, MCA & FCA answering Members' questions on diverse topics relating to legal, VAT and RCD issues. There will also be some travel, event organisation and boat show attendance.
The CEO is responsible for an office of six permanent staff and various support agencies. Management experience and knowledge of the marine sector are desirable and some experience of training delivery would be ideal.
