KETmaritime Workshop | Enriching Maritime Research & Development through Key Enabling Technologies, 26th September 2019, Cork, Ireland

This workshop, organised by the KETmaritime project, will focus on discovering key opportunities for maritime businesses aiming at exploiting the latest advances in technology, as well as identifying the supports required by businesses to seize advantage of these opportunities.

The workshop will include presentations on case studies developed as part of KETmaritime, showcasing technologies which can directly assist maritime research and development.

Speakers from cutting edge maritime technology development will showcase the latest innovations in robotics and marine sensors and provide a glimpse into the upcoming technology drivers and developments in Ireland.

As a result of stronger collaborations and links between KET and maritime sectors, we envisage substantial enhancement in maritime employment and economic growth. However, KETmaritime needs your support and guidance on how to best seize these opportunities.

The event would be of interest to both SMEs and larger companies/institutes who are interesting in learning about Key Enabling Technologies that can transform their business and enable growth.

The event is taking place Thursday 26th September2019, 9:30am-5:30pm at the MaREI, Centre for Marine and Renewable Energy Ireland, Ringaskiddy,Cork

KETmaritime is an Interreg Atlantic Area funded project which aims to identify priority areas for cross-sectoral KET - maritime innovation and improve technology transfer and competitiveness for marine R&D. The project team is comprised of seven partners, representing cutting edge KET organizations and leading marine research institutes (INL - International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, Fórum Oceano, CIMAP, PRODINTEC, MaREI, and MSE).
