Explore opportunities in the Korean Shipbuilding Market and Oil and Gas market at this DIT organised event taking place in London.
Engineers and purchasing managers from Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI), Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI), Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) will be in the UK to identify technologies and solutions and discuss future commercial cooperation.
* The South Korean shipbuilding sector is back on the rise and Korean yards have again taken the lead position in global forward order books for commercial ships such as Tanker, Container vessels and LNGCs.
* Contracts in support of major offshore projects led to over $21.2 billion in new orders in 2017.
* The build target for 2018 has increased by more than 41%, compared to 2017, to reach $29.8 billion.
