Marintec South America, 14th-16th August 2018, Brazil
Marintec South America is the sole trade show for the maritime industry in Latin America. The exhibition attracts around 6,000 visitors with shipowners, shipyards and the oil & gas market being the prime audience.
The stabilised and positive Brazilian economy is leading to greater demand for maritime goods and services. The Brazilian shipbuilding industry is delivering vessels to different sectors including oil & gas, and river transport. Currently in the region of 136 vessels are on the orderbooks. Added to this is the associated offshore energy business with Brazil once again looking at extensive deepwater offshore exploration.
