US Maritime advisers to visit London, Bristol and the Midlands, 2nd-6th October 2017
A small team from one of the main maritime industry regions of the USA will be visiting companies in London, Bristol and the Midlands between 2nd - 6th October.
From the Hampton Roads region of Virginia (centred on the port city of Norfolk), they provide free advice to firms that are growing their US businesses.
The region is very strong in:
* shipbuilding and repair
* naval and defence systems
* shipping and logistics
and is involved in the new US offshore wind industry.
The group helps with issues such as recruitment, finding premises and setting up a US business, and connects companies with local firms and professional services.
