The "2017 Year of Autonomy" initiative has the vision of bringing together innovators and users from across land, air and marine autonomy to address key challenges and share learning in a series of workshops to be held throughout 2017.

This workshop will consider a range of Collaborative Autonomy topics including: Swarming, command & control, centralised or decentralised control intelligence; How can air, land and marine autonomous systems be deployed together? What are the challenges in enabling this to happen?

The first workshop on Collaborative Autonomy will take place on 28 February at QinetiQ on the Portsdown Technology Park, Cosham. The workshop will consider a range of Collaborative Autonomy topics:

* swarming, command & control, centralised or decentralised control intelligence
* how can air, land and marine autonomous systems be deployed together?

This event aims to foster closer co-operation and partnering across industry, academia and government through scene setting presentations from each sector / industry, followed by workshop sessions to look at challenges and opportunities in collaborative autonomy. Specifically the agenda will:

* increase attendees awareness of capabilities and facilities, relevant to the development of Collaborative Autonomy
* review recent successes and identifying areas of strength in Collaborative Autonomy
* discuss priorities, key challenges and potential opportunities in Collaborative Autonomy across air, land and marine environments.

If you have an interest in how autonomous land, air and sea systems can work together then this workshop is for you.

It is open to businesses both developing and using autonomous systems, academia and research institutes, and other organisations with an interest in collaborative autonomy.

Places at this workshop will be limited and restricted to a maximum of 2 people per organisation.
