Poole has successfully bid to host European Maritime Day (EMD) and the EMD conference in 2017, joining a long list of major European maritime cities who have previously hosted this prestigious event. This is a one-off opportunity to promote Poole and to use this event as a springboard to promote your business to a local and international audience, and to network with important EU policy makers and business leaders.

The Poole Maritime Festival 2017, offers some great opportunities not only to promote Poole as a good place to do business, but also gives you the chance to associate your brand, corporate messages and values with the event and the region, and to benefit from the media attention focusing on the conference and festival.

Poole Maritime Festical 2017 is split into 3 sections:

* Public Festival - a variety of public events, the main focus being Poole Harbour Boat Show and Public Festival
* Business Programme - various B2B and networking events
