H2020 Funding for Blue Growth and Transport for Maritime Sector

H2020 is an EU Research and Innovation programme with funding available up until to 2020. It aims to promote excellent science, industrial leadership and tackle many societal challenges.

Blue Growth is part of the Horizon 2020 agenda and has a number of objectives that are relevant to marine businesses:

* Demonstrate the innovative potential of the Oceans by bringing technology to market - test, demonstrate, scale-up and bring to the market innovative, sustainable technologies, products and services while respecting marine ecosystems

* Foster innovation and business opportunities for rural and coastal areas through new approaches and business models

There are several topics currently open for submission.
