Rampion Offshore Wind project update
Construction work on the Rampion project is now well underway both onshore and offshore and an update newsletter has been produced which is available to download.
After 6 years of planning and development, construction of the Rampion Offshore Wind Farm started in the autumn of 2015. Offshore construction got started in February 2016 with the installation of the first foundation by jack-up vessel MPI Discovery.
The Rampion team managing the construction of the wind farm has moved into a temporary facility at Newhaven Port, which will be home until the specially designed operations and maintenance base is completed.
