Interested in robitics and autonomous systems? Come and find out more, 19th September 2016, Southampton

Come and meet with regional robotics networks and the Solent LEP and join in the discussions about robotics and autonomous systems at the NOC Southampton 10th September 2016.

The Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) is hosting three events in September where speakers from a selection of LEP's will present their current thoughts and highlight their interests in RAS.

This forum will provide an opportunity for an open discussion on creating greater collaboration in the regions, highlighting Smart Specialisation and identifying synergies and possible opportunities for development.

Attendance is open to everyone; SME's, businesses and research organisations are welcome to attend and contribute to the discussion.

LEP representatives will give a brief overview of their current strategy, particularly in how it relates to RAS, and then we will have a Q&A session with a panel to identify synergies and common themes (e.g. agriculture, transport, extreme environments, advanced manufacturing, subsea, etc.).

We'll also be hearing from Innovate UK who will be briefing delegates on the newly released Innovate UK & EPSRC funding for RAS. There's up to £5 million up for grabs in innovation projects to stimulate new partnerships across robotics and autonomous systems (RAS).

Tickets for these free events are limited so come and join us.
