Boatbuilding Efficiently with Composites Event, 2nd July, Southampton
Find out how others have successfully developed their businesses using the latest tools and techniques and hear about recent developments from researchers and from other sectors. At this seminar, presentations of recent developments and case studies from several companies will demonstrate ways of economically improving efficiency and productivity.
Recent years have seen significant government investment in developing the UK composites sector and increasing interest in supporting the marine sector. Information about recent UK initiatives and how they affect the boatbuilding sector will be presented, including government strategy; the National Composites Centre; skills training; supply chain integration; resource efficiency / recycling; support and funding opportunities.
This event is organised by the Materials KTN, supported by the Transport KTN, the British Marine Federation and the National Composites Centre.
