Marine South East Wind Farm Events attract large audiences
Over 180 people attended a series events hosted by Marine South East in April to inform local businesses about potential opportunities arising from the proposed Offshore Wind Farms off the South Coast of England.
Presentations were delivered by representatives from E.ON, Bid Perfect, the Manufacturing Advisory Service and Marine South East. E.ON speakers gave businesses a very informative overview of the Rampion Project which was followed by MAS who talked about grants and support available to help companies reduce costs by becoming more efficient. Bid Perfect gave a lively presentation on how to improve tenders to enable companies to create winning bids.
Feedback from the events has been very positive and Marine South East is now organising a series of free one-day workshops with MAS and Bid Perfect on the theme of 'Winning Bids and Reducing Costs'. The workshops will take place on 3rd May in Shoreham, 17th May in Newhaven and 31st May in Chichester.
