National Science & Engineering Week 7th – 16th March 2008

Discover the wonders of science and engineering and the mysteries of the Ocean and Earth at the University of Southampton’s Science and Engineering Week 2008. Supported by The Royal Academy of Engineering.

National Science and Engineering Week is a 10 Day programme of around 2000 events across the UK, celebrating science, engineering and technology and their importance in our lives. The programme is hugely varied with an eclectic mix suitable for people of all ages and abilities. The University of Southampton is celebrating this exciting occasion with a variety of events:

Science and Engineering Day - Highfield Campus
Saturday 8th March 2008, 1030am - 4pm

Ocean & Earth Day - National Oceanography Centre Saturday 15th March 2008 from 10.30am - 4pm

The University of Southampton invites all the family, young and old, to come along to these stimulating and fun events. Both days will be packed with fascinating activities, taking place across different Zones: Space, Technology, Life, Ocean and Earth, Transport, Light and Chemistry.
