Venue: Portsmouth Metropole, Portsmouth

This is a workshop that could bring you closer to the funding your organisation needs, on Thursday 24th January and Wednesday 6th February 2008, 9.30 am - 4.00 pm

The Innovation Advisory Service is running two funding workshops, first in Portsmouth on 24 January at the The Portsmouth Technopole, Kingston Crescent, Portsmouth, PO2 8FA, and then Southampton on 6 February at University of Southampton Science Park, Lime Walk, Chilworth, Southampton, SO16 7NP.

The aim is for workshop participants to develop a clear understanding of what funding they should consider trying for - and how to apply for it in a way that works.

The content includes a roadmap to funding, R& D tax credits, Technology Strategy Board Programme (formerly DTI), EU Framework 7 Programme, Grants for R& D, Angel Investors and Investment Networks, and details of local funds available to businesses in the SE region. The presentations are delivered by experts in the various fields.

Why you should attend: The presentations and workshops will be delivered by experts who have successfully guided companies to funding over the past 5 years. This includes current assessors for several of the programmes described and Finance South East. Networking opportunities are built into the day's programme.

Booking by 17 January is essential. To book please email events@iasse.co.uk or contact Heather Trevis at the Innovation Advisory Service South East on 01865 811177.
