2nd year of B A Peters Management & Leadership Bursary

The BA Peters Bursary of £2,000 is awarded each year to an individual who is keen to develop as a Manager within the industry. Applicants may own their own business or be an employee taking on an increasingly key role within their company. This Bursary is open exclusively to British Marine Federation members.

Entry forms for this years BA Peters Management & Leadership Bursary are now available from BMF via the website www.britishmarine.co.uk or by emailing training@britishmarine.co.uk

The choice of course is not prescribed however the candidate will need to outline its objectives and relevance to their role and company. The Bursary may be used to pay for the full cost of a course or as a contribution to the overall cost. However the amount awarded may not be greater than the cost of the course fees.

The money can be used to fund or contribute to a recognised Management School such as Ashridge, Henley or Cranfield or for more local provision. The BMF `Training team is able to provide advice to companies who are unsure about which is an appropriate course or qualification.

The winner will be required to write a report/summary of the course they choose and its benefits on completion and agree to be used as a case study.

The Closing Date for Entries is 10 August 2007. Short listed entrants will be invited for interview and the Bursary presented at the Southampton Boat Show.
