Sponsors required for 2008 Schools Marine Challenge

With the 2007 event only just over, the British Marine Federation and Marine South East are already putting plans in place for the 2008 event.

With 15 schools taking place last year, 50% more than the previous year, and a list of schools on the waiting list to take part in 2008, we are looking for companies to help sponsor the event, either by providing funding for a single school to take place or by sponsoring prizes on race day.

This year we had to limit the number of schools, which meant that many were disappointed. Next year we would like to help more schools take part, as the event has proven over the last two years to be a fantastic way of getting youngsters interested in marine engineering.

If you could help with sponsorship, from as little as £100 to sponsor a prize and up to £2000 to sponsor a school's entry into the competition, we would love to hear from you. Without your help we would not be able to hold this important event every year.
