Whole host of events at this year’s London Boat Show

British Marine Federation logo

The British Marine Federation will again this year be putting on a series of events to help companies make the most of their time visiting or exhibiting at the show.

5 January 2007
On the opening day of the Show, the BMF Technical Department will be hosting the latest round of networking events in the Motorsport to Marine programme which will see over 30 motorsport companies visiting the Show to explore opportunities for collaborative ventures, new markets and sharing technical expertise. This follows successful events at the last two Southampton Boat Shows and has already led to several new members joining the BMF and cross sector projects between the marine industry and members of the Motorsport Industry Association.

The event will open with a short seminar to introduce the two sectors, and is an opportunity for BMF members to present what they do and meet potential business partners from high performance engineering companies in the Motorsport sector. There are many areas of mutual interest covering a range of products, technologies, materials and business activities. Exhibitors will also benefit from stand visits from the visiting Motorsport companies and BMF Members wishing to take part should contact Adrian Waddams at sarahawaddams@britishmarine.co.uk

8 January
