To meet this need, MSE has initiated a partnership of associates, comprising individuals who can collectively bring extensive marine and maritime experience.

Maritime resource efficiency project (REMCAP) website launched...
REMCAP, a European collaborative project focused on Maritime Resource Efficiency has launched a new website aimed at relevant marine companies, public sector bodies, academic institutions and research organisations, to update interested parties on its activities and achievements. Coordinated by Marine South East this Framework 7 'Regions of Knowledge' project brings together 14 partners from 6 European maritime clusters with capabilities in the marine resource extraction sectors.

Glycerol fuel project (GLEAMS) launch interest group and set date for first workshop...
GLEAMS (Glycerine Fuel for Engines and Marine Sustainability) is a Technology Strategy Board project under the Marine Vessel Efficiency competition which is looking at developing vessels to burn marine glycerol in a bid to overcome rising fuel costs and tightening emissions standards.
